The Cancer Care Quality Program is expanding to include care coordination services provided by network providers for those eligible members who enroll in NCI-Molecular Analysis for Therapy Choice (NCI-MATCH), a National Cancer Institute clinical trial. NCI-MATCH seeks to determine whether treating cancers according to their molecular abnormalities will show evidence of effectiveness.
The Cancer Care Quality Program Precision Medicine expansion provides a unique opportunity to support the White House’s Precision Medicine Initiative through the National Cancer Institute to accelerate knowledge and learn as rapidly as possible which genes and therapies are clinically effective.
